About the role

The Business Development Manager – Outdoor is a critical role within the Dealer Business Unit of Springs Window Fashions. This position manages the Southeast and Northeast regions and can be based remotely within either region, provided the candidate resides near a major airport to support frequent travel.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Outdoor dealer network growth and performance within an assigned region.
  • Identify, develop, and strengthen high-quality dealer partnerships across the region.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to identify market opportunities, evaluate dealer performance, strengthen Outdoor expertise across the field organization, and support long-term regional growth initiatives.
  • Manage inbound dealer opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Product, and SWF teams to improve dealer experience and support overall Outdoor growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales, business development, dealer development, or channel management experience; industry experience in home improvement, outdoor products, building products, or related categories preferred.
  • Proven ability to identify, recruit, develop, and manage dealer or distribution relationships aligned with long-term business growth objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market opportunities, dealer performance, and regional growth trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, markets, and dealer relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Strong phone presence, outbound prospecting capability, and virtual presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Comfort operating within construction environments and discussing product installation, job site conditions, and safety best practices.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong follow-through, and a customer-first/dealer-first mindset.
