About the role
The Business Development Manager at NAVAIR is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support the organization’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow NAVAIR’s market share.
- Identify potential clients and partners, and build relationships to secure contracts and partnerships.
- Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, emphasizing the value of NAVAIR’s services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and project management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of federal contracting processes and regulations.
