About the role

The Business Development Manager at NAVAIR is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support the organization’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow NAVAIR’s market share.
  • Identify potential clients and partners, and build relationships to secure contracts and partnerships.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, emphasizing the value of NAVAIR’s services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting processes and regulations.
