Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research
  • Develop and build a pipeline of potential clients to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Conduct outreach to prospective customers to introduce products and services, effectively communicating value propositions
  • Qualify leads to ensure they match the company's ideal customer profile and have strong growth potential
  • Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective clients
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close new sales while ensuring profitability
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and outreach strategies to generate leads
  • Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities within CRM systems
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities
  • Develop a strategic plan for territory growth, focusing on high-potential accounts and long-term relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of outside sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in new business development with a short sales cycle
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify and approach potential clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations and product demonstrations
  • Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
