About the role

Act as a trusted technical sales partner within the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets, beginning with the Chicago region
  • Build a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, technical presentations, RFQs, negotiation, and closing
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to meet customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
  • Act as a trusted technical sales partner to engineering, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders
  • Convert existing international relationships into sustainable U.S. business streams
  • Develop long-term partnerships to drive repeat and scalable revenue
  • Represent a portfolio of high-tensile fastening solutions, including: Anchor bolts, Cross bolts, Hex nuts, Studs
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of spring technologies, including: Coil springs, Disc springs, Strip springs, Spiral springs
  • Position the company as a value-added engineering partner rather than a commodity supplier

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within manufacturing
  • Minimum 5+ years selling fasteners, springs, or closely related engineered components
  • Experience selling into Tier 1 suppliers and/or OEMs strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive, self-starting approach
  • Able to work independently and build a U.S. market presence from the ground up
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
