Business Development Manager (Home Healthcare) in Ocala, FL

About the role

This position is for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow the client base of a nationwide Home Health agency by securing facilities with patients (e.g., Assisted Living, Rehabs, Hospice, Hospitals). This is not a staffing agency role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a new territory in the Home Health space
• Manage overall client relationships and conduct daily client visits
• Develop and maintain inter-company relationships
• Follow up on new business opportunities and coordinate meetings with prospective clients
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers, including physicians, discharge planners, independent assisted living facilities, and group homes
• Bring 20+ referrals per month
• Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations

Requirements

• Local to one of the specified Florida areas
• Existing book of business in Home Health (required)
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, Medicare, and industry knowledge
• Home Health experience (required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Self-motivated and driven
