About the role

As a Business Development Manager within PNC's Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in Atlanta, GA. Your responsibilities include developing and driving financial wellness programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives, and providing innovative solutions such as health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, and earned wage access.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive financial wellness programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access and other financial wellness offerings.
  • Employ a consultative-based sales approach to acquire new business relationships.
  • Work directly with knowledgeable client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business.
  • Handle the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non-credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
  • Identify and mitigate different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
  • Build an effective network of internal and external relationships to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience.
  • Presents the full range of PNC's products and services to bring the entire bank to the client.
  • Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and informs on financial wellness solutions product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning.

Requirements

Experience selling to one or more of the following areas is preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, general services.

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Preferred Skills: Book Of Business, Client Relationship Building, Credit Processes, Credit Products, Customer Engagement, Decision Making, Financial Analysis, Identifying Sales Opportunities
  • Competencies: Business Acumen, Client Relationship Management, Customer Experience Management, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Prospecting, Sales Negotiating, Selling.
  • Work Experience: Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree, with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
