Business Development Manager / Data Services (f/m/d)

About the role

Data Services Sales commercializes proprietary data from Deutsche Börse Group as well as international cooperation partners. The role involves marketing and promoting the data and analytics offering from Deutsche Börse in Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with consumers of data and analytics internationally
• Conduct market research, identify demand, and uncover cross-selling opportunities
• Develop and execute sales strategies
• Create ad-hoc presentations for internal and external distribution
• Confidently present the data and analytics offerings and lead client-facing meetings
• Demonstrate business development capabilities with confident cold-calling techniques
• Manage a sales pipeline effectively

Requirements

• University degree in business administration or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics, or sales of investment products
• Financial market experience, including a deep understanding of product offerings, ideally from working in trading or quant funds
• Proven sales track record, strong commercial attitude, and persistence
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence
• Strong team player with a cooperative attitude

Pay

130,000 – 150,000 USD
