Business Development Manager - Commercial Cleaning Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new commercial cleaning and facility service opportunities.
• Possess proven ability to generate new business and build lasting client relationships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from generating leads and conducting discovery meetings to preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with our Operations team to ensure successful client onboarding while identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships through expanded service offerings.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Outside Sales, or a related field.
• Experience achieving ambitious sales goals in a service-based or commercial environment.
• Commercial cleaning, facility management, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple sales opportunities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Work Environment

This position combines office-based work with client meetings, facility walkthroughs, networking events, and regional travel. Success in this role requires flexibility, professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with Operations leadership to support company growth.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience.
• Incentives: Uncapped Commission.
