Business Development Manager – Banking Solutions
About the role
The role is for a Business Development Manager focused on driving growth in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or banking technology solution sales, with a strong background in selling into banks, financial institutions, or fintech organizations.
Responsibilities
- Possess and qualify leads within Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, financial institutions, and fintechs.
- Engage senior stakeholders across business, digital, product, and transformation teams to position Intellect’s banking solutions.
- Support end-to-end sales cycles by coordinating demos, solution workshops, and proof-of-value sessions.
- Create tailored proposals and business cases demonstrating measurable business impact.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools; assist in tracking pipeline, outreach, and campaign effectiveness.
- Partner with Marketing to run targeted campaigns and nurture interest across the banking ecosystem.
- Collaborate with senior sales and solution teams to mine existing accounts and develop partner-led opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or banking technology solution sales.
- Strong exposure to selling into banks, financial institutions, or fintech organizations.
- Experience selling digital transformation, core banking, lending, payments, or regulatory solutions is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to connect technology to business value.
- Self-starter with strong prospecting and pipeline-generation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.
