Key Responsibilities
- Possess and execute a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new merchant relationships.
- Build strategic referral channels and aggressively expand market presence.
- Identify and sell payment processing solutions, dual pricing, surcharge programs, POS systems, gateways, MCA solutions, and related merchant services products.
- Overcome objections and close deals by positioning solutions effectively.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and handoff.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Represent the company professionally in various client-facing interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and merchant needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales, business development, merchant services, fintech, payments, ISO, POS, MCA, or financial services experience.
- Proven success in acquiring new clients, merchants, or business accounts.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, POS systems, gateways, surcharge, dual pricing, and/or cash advance products.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM platforms.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, professional, and results-oriented personality.
