Job Summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new ventures in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of B2B sales experience in construction, engineering, or specialty services, deep roots in the Raleigh, NC or North Carolina market, and a proven track record of closing large, complex deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new opportunities and close deals with owners, engineers, and contractors to grow STRUCTURAL’s regional footprint.
  • Lead every phase of the sales process—from pitch, through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Shape and execute the vision for sales in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas, aligning efforts with company-wide goals while driving revenue and market share.
  • Turn complex problems into smart, profitable solutions.
  • Leverage your well-established network and industry expertise to open doors and build long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Deep roots in the Raleigh, NC or North Carolina market — you know the landscape, the key players, and how to reach them.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals and closing large, complex deals.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.
  • CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) and a structured, data-driven approach to sales.
  • Willingness to travel ~70-80% across the Raleigh, NC region.
