About the role

We're QRY, a paid media agency focused on helping brands reach their most valuable consumers and achieve meaningful results. We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and drive our growth.

Requirements

  • Your day-to-day includes:

  • Pipeline development & outreach: Send at least 5-10 targeted prospect messages daily, build target prospect lists, and attend 4-6 trade shows annually.

  • Blueprint Session ownership: Qualify every prospect, attend and co-facilitate Blueprint Sessions, and own next steps from day one.

  • Post-Blueprint — audit, proposal, & close: Assign audit teams, coordinate proposals, and own all post-proposal follow-up.

  • CRM & pipeline hygiene: Log every deal in HubSpot, run a weekly pipeline review, and document loss reasons.

  • Client referral network: Own the referral channel and track all outreach and introductions in HubSpot.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience: 3-6 years of B2B business development experience in agency, media, or professional services.

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Relationship Manager: Understanding of how marketing leaders buy and the internal dynamics involved.

  • Builder Mentality: Excited to join on the ground floor and help shape the team's future.

  • Metric-Driven: Comfortable with pipeline data and using it to make decisions.

  • CRM Proficiency: HubSpot is second nature.

  • Ownership: Takes full ownership of results and manages multiple deals simultaneously.

  • Communication: Sharp and appropriate for senior marketing decision-makers.

  • Time Management: Runs parallel tracks effectively without letting any thread go cold.

  • Industry Passion: Excited about the digital marketing space and staying current on trends.

  • Continuous Learner: Curious about QRY's clients and methodology.

  • Remote Work Environment: Understands the importance of a clean, quiet workspace suitable for video calls and respects digital etiquette.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: $70,000 - $80,000.00 base salary with per-client bonuses and an uncapped annual accelerator. OTE at quota is $100,000, strong performers earn around $115,000, and there's no ceiling for exceptional performance.
