What You'll Do

  • Develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Identify customer transportation and logistics needs and present customized domestic and international shipping solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and seamless execution.
  • Assist with RFP responses, pricing strategies, and customer implementation plans.
  • Negotiate service solutions and pricing with prospective and existing clients.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Consistently work toward revenue and growth goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales or freight forwarding operations with a desire to move into sales.
  • Strong understanding of international and domestic transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
  • Prioritization of building relationships, generating new business, and closing opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
