What You'll Do
- Develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Identify customer transportation and logistics needs and present customized domestic and international shipping solutions.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and seamless execution.
- Assist with RFP responses, pricing strategies, and customer implementation plans.
- Negotiate service solutions and pricing with prospective and existing clients.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Consistently work toward revenue and growth goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales or freight forwarding operations with a desire to move into sales.
- Strong understanding of international and domestic transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
- Prioritization of building relationships, generating new business, and closing opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
