Brief Description

We are seeking an ambitious Des Moines area Business Development Manager for our leading IT staffing firm, TeamSoft. The ideal candidate has a background in selling IT-related products or services and is eager to expand their expertise in IT staffing sales. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Compensation

$75k-$85k + commission

Schedule

Remote, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

How You’ll Do It

  • Meet other business leaders through social networking, cold calls, and leads to create opportunities for TeamSoft to impact the world of staffing by effectively aligning talent and matching customer needs.
  • Collaborate as a team member with both direct and indirect reporting in a matrix organization by developing strategies, executing sales goals, and creating strong relationships with the service and delivery team.
  • Possess prospecting and lead development skills, building relationships with key decision-makers, including hiring managers, procurement teams, and HR professionals.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and propose tailored IT staffing solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals by preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and negotiating contract terms to drive successful client acquisitions.
  • Stay updated on IT industry trends, workforce demands, and competitor strategies to refine sales tactics.
  • Work closely with recruiters and account managers to ensure client expectations are met with top-tier IT talent.
  • Expand knowledge in IT staffing, industry trends, and sales strategies to drive career growth.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2 or more years of sales experience in IT solutions, sales, or IT staffing.
  • A strong affinity for business development, including service and marketing calls.
  • A desire to increase business opportunities in your market by being actively involved in the community.
  • Troubleshooting abilities to resolve problems or complaints of clients.
  • The ability to understand and apply basic business acumen and financial concepts.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the duties of this job, the staff associate is required to have a valid driver's license and the ability and means to drive their vehicle 60-75% of the time, to visit other office locations, prospects or new clients.
