What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives across the Detroit Metro and Eastern Michigan region
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development
- Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, proposal development, negotiations, closing, account expansion
- Build long-term partnerships with manufacturing, operations, HR, quality, and executive leadership teams
- Conduct onsite client meetings, facility visits, presentations, and networking activities throughout the region
- Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, and account updates within Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate internally with recruiting, operations, and leadership teams to ensure strong customer delivery and satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing client accounts
- Represent MS Companies at industry events, trade shows, and regional networking functions
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, account management, or staffing/services sales experience
- Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and close new business opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Highly organized with strong time management and pipeline management abilities
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Ability to pass background screening and drug screening
Required Qualifications
- Existing relationships within the Michigan manufacturing or industrial market
- Experience engaging plant managers, operations leaders, HR teams, and executive stakeholders
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Pardot, or similar prospecting tools
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas or revenue targets
Preferred Experience
- Automotive, manufacturing, logistics, industrial, aerospace, or operational services experience
- Staffing, workforce solutions, consulting, or service-based sales experience
- Experience in technical or professional recruiting/business development
