Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within target markets, regions, and/or industries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, connectors, etc.
- Generate qualified leads and feed opportunity pipeline.
- Track market trends, upcoming developments, and competitor activity.
- Cook up client outreach efforts including meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Aid in developing strategic growth plans, quarterly/yearly business development Rocks, and budgets.
- Maintain CRM systems and track business development activities and outcomes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business opportunities.
- Participate in client satisfaction measurement and tracking.
- Represent Koester at industry events, association meetings, and networking events.
- Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
- Aid in preparing RFQs, RFPs, interview materials, and marketing collateral.
- Participate in project interviews and client presentations.
- Position the company competitively for future opportunities.
- Work in a manner aligned with our Core Values of Teamwork, Safety, Integrity, and Excellence.
Qualifications
- Commercial construction experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, finance, or similar field desired.
- High-level knowledge of construction required.
- Existing relationships within the commercial construction market are a plus.
