Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities within target markets, regions, and/or industries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, connectors, etc.
  • Generate qualified leads and feed opportunity pipeline.
  • Track market trends, upcoming developments, and competitor activity.
  • Cook up client outreach efforts including meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Aid in developing strategic growth plans, quarterly/yearly business development Rocks, and budgets.
  • Maintain CRM systems and track business development activities and outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
  • Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business opportunities.
  • Participate in client satisfaction measurement and tracking.
  • Represent Koester at industry events, association meetings, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
  • Aid in preparing RFQs, RFPs, interview materials, and marketing collateral.
  • Participate in project interviews and client presentations.
  • Position the company competitively for future opportunities.
  • Work in a manner aligned with our Core Values of Teamwork, Safety, Integrity, and Excellence.

Qualifications

  • Commercial construction experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, finance, or similar field desired.
  • High-level knowledge of construction required.
  • Existing relationships within the commercial construction market are a plus.
