Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce and manage the business development plan
- Pursue new opportunities and business relationships which produce construction projects
- Follow up with existing customers to promote new projects
- Work in collaboration with members of the internal team to create opportunities for projects
- Network with clients and partners through direct meetings, industry events and associations
- Represent the company at economic development meetings
- Present qualifications to clients
- Produce and track an annual budget for business development
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Knowledge of Construction trends
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Experience in sales research and strategic analysis
- 5+ Years of experience in a business development role for commercial construction or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science & management or related field is preferred
