General Summary

Self-motivated professional sales communicator with a passion for engaging high level decision-makers to create revenue-generating strategic partnerships leveraging DART assets including consumer and B2B promotions, advertising and social media, and naming rights sponsorships. Responsible for the strategic planning, management, and measurement of B2B and B2C programs within the DART Access initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees, manages, and directs Corporate Program team personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Establish strategic revenue-generating corporate partnerships to drive income and value-added rider experience.
  • Manages and performs complex analyses of B2B and B2C program performance.
  • Develops section and employee measurements to ensure alignment with Agency goals and strategic business plans.
  • Managing program sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Meet planned sales goals.
  • Establish a CRM system through driving project with IT and management.
  • Lead revenue-generating advertising program, including vendor oversight and generating creative partnerships driving both marketing and revenue benefits to DART.
  • Target and engage with prospective business and organizational customers. Includes personal outreach, networking, inbound marketing leads, industry and community organizations.
  • Employ customer-oriented sales strategy to reveal needs and opportunities, offer solutions and obtain commitment for use of DART services.
  • Conduct research and prospecting activities individually and in team settings.
  • Conduct group and individual presentations to educate and increase customers participation in DART programs.
  • Participate in supporting the Advertisement contract.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Prepares a variety of reports and documents for management review.
  • Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
  • Develops dashboards and analysis reports on sales, contracts, and program revenue.
  • Perform administrative functions related to client needs and internal DART processes.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and other departments to leverage DART capabilities to achieve goals.
  • Ensure attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years progressively responsible management experience in corporate sales, marketing or related field to include four (4) years supervising a professional staff.
  • Technical skills to use CRM applications.
  • Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.
  • Knowledge of budget development/analysis, and operational cost factors.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to learn CRM management software programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly-changing culture and environment.
  • Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
  • Ability to make good decisions (without considering how much time it takes) based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment).
