Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track all business development projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead RFP update meetings, maintain project checklists, and send reminders to team members regarding deadlines and deliverables.
  • Manage the preparation of RFP submissions, including budget-to-actuals tracking and coordination of proposal components.
  • Maintain and update the company’s brand list.
  • Manage brand introductions, follow-ups, and meeting scheduling.
  • Aid in building and maintaining relationships with brands, airport concessions teams, developers, and ACDBE partners; maintain updated contact lists.
  • Prepare and distribute LOIs and NDAs to brands, partners, and legal teams for execution.
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to develop complete proposal packages for airport authorities and developers.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive, high-quality submissions.
  • Help lead both the internal and external marketing teams.
  • Attend airport outreach meetings to understand processes, network, and follow up on resulting opportunities.
  • Participate in industry conferences to stay informed about trends and business development activities.
  • Complete registrations and sponsorships for airport opportunities and industry events.
  • Maintain airport, brand, and partner/ACDBE contact lists for upcoming opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, project management, or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in airport concessions, hospitality, retail development, or related industries
  • Familiarity with RFP processes and proposal development
  • Experience working with ACDBE partners or public-sector procurement environments
