Responsibilities
- Execute strategic sales and business development plans to drive profitable growth across assigned markets, product lines, and regions.
- Identify, develop, and track Hydropower and Renewables project opportunities; influence specifications and position MAPEI solutions early in the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with AEC firms, design professionals, contractors, distributors, owners, and public authorities.
- Partner with Sales Representatives to deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative technical solutions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Support product launches and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Product Line Management and R&D.
- Provide technical support through client education, jobsite visits, applicator training, and industry presentations (AIA/PDH).
- Expand networks of engineers, contractors, and industry influencers to increase market penetration and product specification.
- Represent MAPEI at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategy, share insights, and drive business results.
- Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within construction materials or a related industry.
- Strong experience within construction restoration systems or relevant product/market segments.
- Proven experience working in Hydropower and Renewables construction projects, specifications, and key industry stakeholders.
- Experience supporting product launches, technical presentations, or specification development preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and consultative sales approach.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel as needed to support projects, customers, and industry events.
