Responsibilities
- Drive strategic planning and growth initiatives across a portfolio of major clients.
- Identify, pursue, and win large, enterprise-level opportunities.
- Shape pricing strategies, scopes, and pursuit plans.
- Understand market trends with a forward-looking strategy toward future projects and emerging technologies.
- Develop deep, trusted relationships across client organizations.
- Drive global client development by leading cross-regional collaboration, expanding enterprise-level opportunities, and contributing to measurable growth across GHD’s global priority clients.
- Anticipate client needs by monitoring market trends and emerging technologies.
- Represent GHD at industry events and strengthen our market presence.
- Build and execute relationship management plans for complex accounts.
- Tailor proposals and presentations to client priorities.
- Collaborate with specialists across GHD to design and negotiate integrated solutions.
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline and support revenue growth targets.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in engineering or related discipline.
- 5 to 20 years of experience in engineering design projects.
- Proven leadership in client engagement, strategic growth, or business transformation.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience developing and mentoring teams.
- Strong business development and proposal strategy capabilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America.
Performance
- Meet a utilization goal of 10% tied to leadership in major EHS programs and portfolio management.
- Achieve the following annual backlog and pipeline targets:
- 2026: New backlog and projects (MM USD) - 3, Verifiable sales pipeline - 5, GHD Fees (USD) - 2026 - 2027 - 5, 2028+ - 9, 16
- 2027: New backlog and projects (MM USD) - 5, Verifiable sales pipeline - 8, GHD Fees (USD) - 2027 - 2028+ - 16
- 2028+: New backlog and projects (MM USD) - 9, Verifiable sales pipeline - 16, GHD Fees (USD) - 2028+ - 16
