Pipeline Development
Identify and prioritize a continuous stream of new business prospects aligned with Wondros’ target sectors.
Strategic Outreach
Execute personalized outreach to high-level decision-makers to secure introductory capabilities meetings.
Full-Cycle Sales Support
Lead initial sales discussions, engage Wondros Leadership as appropriate, represent Wondros’ value proposition, and shepherd opportunities through the pipeline until the contract is signed.
Brand Ambassadorship
Represent Wondros at pre-approved industry conferences and networking events to capture warm leads.
Internal Synergy
Collaborate weekly with the New Business Team to share progress and align on closing strategies.
Required Skills
- Sophisticated Rapport Building: Ability to navigate high-level conversations and build trust with executive leadership quickly.
- AI/Sales Tools Proficiency: Utilizes AI and advanced sales tools to identify trends, targets, and prospects.
- Sales Rigor: Takes a disciplined approach to move qualified prospects through the sales process.
- Strategic Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, specifically the ability to translate complex agency capabilities into client solutions. Authors sales decks and strategic proposals.
- Resilience & Drive: High internal motivation to hit targets and the tenacity to handle the long lead times of agency sales.
Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in business development, specifically in the agency, creative, or consulting space.
- Existing Network: Immediate access to a "Rolodex" of high-net-worth individuals and C-suite decision-makers. Relative industries include public health, pharma/bio tech, consumer health and wellness, foundations, and Federal, California state, and Los Angeles County government.
- Wondros Familiarity: Deep understanding of (or ability to quickly master) the Wondros mission and social impact storytelling.
- Compensation Alignment: Comfort with and preference for a performance-based compensation model (Base + Bonus/Commission).
Compensation
Base: $35.00/hr, plus commission. Hire will be eligible for commission during the temporary assignment and upon conversion to regular employment.
Temporary-to-Hire Opportunity
This position is expected to last approximately three to six months. At the conclusion of the temporary assignment, employees may be considered for regular full-time employment based on:
- Achievement of new business development goals
- Revenue generation and closed business
- Relationship-building and client engagement
- Overall performance and organizational fit
Please note that conversion to regular employment is not guaranteed.
