About the role

Lead executive-level engagements with CXOs and key decision-makers within major events' Local Organizing Committees (LOCs), International Federations (IFs), governing bodies, professional leagues, and global franchises. Architect a robust AI, analytics, and technology ecosystem powered by Alibaba Cloud and Tongyi, translating complex business requirements into tailored technological solutions that drive measurable innovation and performance results across the industry.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead high-level trust-building and strategic partnerships, positioning Alibaba Cloud as a Strategic Innovation Partner through expertise in Digital and AI Transformation.
• Own the global vertical’s P&L, cultivating pipelines and capturing new business to exceed annual GAAP revenue and cloud consumption targets.
• Design "Win-Win-Win" value chains aligning Alibaba Cloud, organizations, and technology partners for long-term commercial sustainability.
• Establish repeatable customer acquisition and scaling methodologies, developing strategic blueprints to replicate successful "breakthrough" wins globally.
• Bridge business needs and technical execution, articulating Alibaba Cloud’s value proposition and competitive advantages in AI and Intelligent Computing.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency, fan engagement, and broadcasting workflows for premier organizations.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration among global teams (Legal, Finance, Solution Architects, and Product) to ensure project success while upholding integrity and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of high-impact experience within the global sports industry.
• Profound understanding of the global sports ecosystem and the Olympic Movement, with ability to navigate complex governance structures and multi-stakeholder dynamics.
• Deep conceptual understanding of cloud computing and AI market trends; ability to articulate Alibaba Cloud’s technical functionalities and competitive advantages to sports executives.
• Extensive, "warm" network of high-level contacts within international sports organizations and corporate partners, with a track record of leveraging relationships for market penetration and strategic wins.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional, and cross-border projects in a large-scale global organization.
• Resilient, culturally intelligent, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments across diverse geographies and time zones.
• Absolute commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in STEM (highly preferred).
• Native or professional fluency in English; fluency in Chinese and/or French is a strategic advantage.

Pay

Base pay range at commencement of employment: $156,000–$255,600/year. Offer may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
