Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a business plan through balanced activities with new, target, and existing accounts to meet quota and product mix goals.
  • Proactively develop client relationships, foster trust, and create meaningful engagements to win Haworth business.
  • Stay current with economic, financial, social, and cultural news impacting the industry and customers.
  • Network in assigned markets, attend events, and interact with business leaders and influencers to identify prospective business.
  • Cultivate strong dealer relationships to increase Haworth’s share of wallet.
  • Educate dealers on campaigns, products, and incentives to boost dealer revenue.
  • Partner with dealers to lead with Haworth solutions and negotiate long-term, profitable agreements.
  • Manage business plans and maintain up-to-date CRM records for sales activities, strategies, and results.
  • Manage expense budgets and adhere to travel and entertainment guidelines.
  • Travel up to 80% to meet face-to-face with clients, influencers, and dealers.
  • Perform all essential job functions with or without accommodation.
  • Use office automation, communication software, and tools in the Haworth environment.
  • Perform other duties within scope as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business, Communications, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent.
  • Education equivalency options:
    • Associate's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or
    • High school diploma plus 4 years of related experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with a demonstrated track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
  • Military experience may qualify (see MyNextMove for Vets).
  • Ability to work in New York City without relocation assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience.
  • Experience in commercial real estate, project management, or architecture & design.

Pay

This role offers a base salary range of $107,000 to $159,000, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set. Eligible roles may also receive sales incentive bonuses.
