Job Overview
The Business Development Engineer will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling strategic partnerships within Unigen’s AI Partner Network, focusing on System Integrators (SIs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs), with the overall goal of growing Unigen’s AI solutions business.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner Development & Channel Strategy
- Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic SIs and VARs aligned with Unigen’s AI solutions portfolio
- Develop and execute a partner go-to-market (GTM) strategy to drive revenue growth
- Build joint business plans with partners, including target accounts, vertical focus, and pipeline development
- Revenue & Sales Funnel Growth
- Drive qualified opportunities through partner channels and direct engagement
- Collaborate with partners on customer opportunities, from initial engagement through deal closure
- Establish and attain revenue targets for Unigen’s AI product line
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to align solutions with market needs
- Support the development of sales enablement tools, training, and partner resources
- Cook up and coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure successful delivery and scaling
- Customer & Partner Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key partners
- Deliver compelling presentations, solution positioning, and value propositions
- Represent Unigen at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
Required Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, electrical engineering, or similar)
- 1-3 years of experience in computer AI HW design or AI software
- Experience working with channel partners to deliver complex solutions
- Comfortable describing technical issues to a diverse audience
- Be able to travel both domestically and internationally
