Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development team by conveying technical and commercial information to potential clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Lead the entire proposal development lifecycle, including both technical and commercial content.
- Analyze RFPs to interpret client needs, assess technical requirements, and propose tailored solutions and win themes.
- Create structured outlines to ensure proposals are compliant and responsive.
- Cook up internal assignments and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposal sections.
- Write and edit high-quality technical proposals that align with customer needs and expectations.
- Create commercial proposals and spreadsheets to capture commercial and pricing information.
- Manage the post-proposal process by addressing clients’ needs through contract execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients in the energy industry.
- Continuously update knowledge of company products and industry trends through training and self-study.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience
- 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in business development or engineering
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to clearly convey complex technical and commercial concepts
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
- Skilled in technical writing and document development
- Proactive and accountable team player with a high standard for quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) for client meetings and industry events
- Eligible for unescorted access to nuclear power plants
- Experience in the nuclear or broader energy industry is a plus
