What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Enable design-in by providing effective technical and application support to customers.
- Recognize and define opportunities for new products or changes to existing products.
- Manage product specifications at responsible customers in cooperation with local sales resources and product divisions.
- Track competitors' activities to develop countermeasures and strategies to increase Murata's share.
- Study and report on the latest needs and trends in markets and at customers to inform Murata's market position.
- Conduct product promotion for assigned products at assigned customers, in cooperation with local sales resources and product divisions.
- Create and maintain promotional materials and tools for assigned products and customers.
- Author application guides and technical papers on mainstream topics, collaborating with Murata Product Divisions.
- Provide product training by creating and delivering training materials.
- Position Murata as a recognized technical leader in North America by authoring and presenting technical papers and guides.
- Issue flash report notifications to sales concerning new product introductions, process changes, and promotion status changes.
- Support product promotion at distributors, including suggesting stocking plans, creating technical materials, and assisting in distribution strategy.
- Research new markets to develop new business and create market and product roadmaps.
- Participate in cross-product group market research activities.
- Support technical issues and quality control claims by resolving claims with QC departments and providing price quotes.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Account Management
- Support Technical issues and Quality Control claims by resolving claims with QC departments and providing price quotes.
