Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Gas Rights origination within municipality landfills, municipality wastewater treatment, and key host site partners
- Conduct market research to assess customer demand, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Support and lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial strategy with company objectives.
- Track sales performance, customer interactions, and key market insights.
Sustainability & Industry Engagement
- Stay current on regulatory and policy developments impacting RNG markets.
- Participate in industry groups, coalitions, and policy forums.
- Support sustainability initiatives and programs promoting RNG and green gas adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in business development, project development, energy markets, sustainability, or a related field (RNG experience preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with M-RETS, RTC markets, gas nominations, or RNG logistics is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
