What You’ll Do
- Drive new business growth by developing and cultivating relationships with prospective clients, referral sources, and industry partners across the MedTech and clinical research markets.
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement through close, ensuring a consultative, client-focused approach and a consistent, disciplined sales process.
- Own and optimize Bright's business development processes and infrastructure, including CRM management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, reporting, and proposal coordination.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver compelling proposals and value-driven client experiences.
- Represent Bright at client meetings, industry conferences, networking events, and other business development activities to expand market presence and generate opportunities.
- Analyze pipeline performance, market trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities, inform business development priorities, and improve commercial effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and workflows to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (5-8 years), with a background in business development, sales, client engagement, clinical research, or related commercial roles within MedTech, CRO, biotechnology, or life sciences.
- Proven success in business development, sales, client engagement, or clinical research within the MedTech, CRO, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders from technical experts and physician KOLs to executive decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of the medical device, clinical research, and broader MedTech ecosystem, with medical device and/or CRO experience preferred.
- Experience managing business development pipelines, proposals, and CRM systems, coupled with strong organizational skills, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
