Duties & Responsibilities
- Effective management and leadership of Business Development efforts.
- Communicating resource needs and leveraging resources assigned.
- Collaborating with subject & technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers.
- Coalescing with business group team members (e.g., program leaders, finance, contracts, etc.) including operational leadership, and SMEs to build and execute call plans.
- Executing Corporate BD CONOPS and implementing SAIC growth culture.
- Gathering, assessing, and validating customer requirements.
- Affirming probable competition and evaluating relative strengths and threats.
- Developing winning strategies, competitive assessments, teaming approaches, and price to win insights.
- Working closely with Program Managers, SMEs, and technical teams to create mission-aligned, differentiated solutions.
- Driving pipeline health, ensuring disciplined capture execution, and delivering compelling, compliant proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of related experience; four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Deep understanding of Army autonomy and the stakeholder community to include Army Ground, Fires, Air, Protection and Sustainment.
- Familiarity with MOSA Architecture and Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Standards; Common Software and Hardware Infrastructure; Integrated Cross-Platform Common Control; Platform Reuse and Reconfiguration; Modular Mission Payloads; Mission Autonomy Planning Capabilities; and Machine.
- Experience with OTAs, CSOs and alternative fast acquisitions.
- Ability to work and execute a quick reaction process for Task Order identification, customer engagement, and Task Order proposal response.
- Active relationships with PAE and DEVCOM leadership.
- The ability to influence constructively and interact at the highest levels of corporate structure is a prerequisite.
- Profound and proven ability in capture management based on industry best practices -- demonstrated proficiency qualifying opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen.
- Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.
- Strong understanding of Army Systems and platform engineering and integration.
- Strong understanding of operational engineering requirements.
- Strong understanding of Army tactical C5 systems.
