Business Development Coordinator - Labor & Employment
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Coordinator to join the award-winning Business Development team, primarily supporting the Labor and Employment practice, among others.
About the Role
The Business Development Coordinator will support the implementation of business development goals and activities and coordinate day-to-day activities at a fast pace. You’ll assist in the planning, coordination, and advancement of critical client-centric business development strategies across the department. This position requires a high energy level, flexibility with overtime, and an in-office presence to deliver services through an integrated and collaborative work culture. The role follows a hybrid 3-day in-office schedule and can be resident in our New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, or Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities
- Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses, and presentations under the direction of managers/senior managers.
- Draft and edit correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, visual resources, and other documents, collaborating with colleagues across departments to format, edit, proofread, print, and compile deliverables to firm standards.
- Leverage firm tools to manage data, conduct research using the firm intranet and external platforms, and create reports in support of business development activities.
- Work in coordination with marketing and events teams to support the development of content for events, identify practice generation targets and opportunities, and conduct event follow-up.
- Assist with budget development, maintenance, and tracking.
- Support business development-related operations, including communications, reporting, and experience management.
- Coordinate responses to ad hoc assignments.

Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services/consulting organization. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications, with the ability to adapt to new technology and programs.

Pay
- New York, NY: $67,400.00 - $107,825.00
- Princeton, NJ: $62,000.00 - $99,200.00
- Washington, DC: $64,700.00 - $103,475.00
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may fall outside this range based on individual circumstances. Additionally, the total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits.
