Responsibilities
Responsible for the account opening process from inputting and submitting electronic applications, collaborating with e-branch personnel, processing manual paperwork and leads generated by Business Development Officers. Consistently follow-ups with new members and financial wellbeing appointments to ensure member is guided with action plan towards financial prosperity. Manages Business Development e-mail inbox and Business Development Request and CU Collaborate correspondence/processing. Maintains and works daily call schedule for site visits/event opportunities. Attends on-site enrollments, conferences, and community event days. Coordinates with ambassadors to provide posters, electronic communications and collateral material. Maintains and updates CRM contact database and member follow-up. Maintains marketing, compliance and promotional supplies for Business Development department. Maintains monthly events calendar and Sharepoint. Works with Business Development Officer and Financial Wellbeing Impact Officer to maximize the opportunity to grow/cross-sell membership. Attends Business Development monthly meetings, brainstorming sessions, committee commitments, quarterly town halls, and collaborates with all branch locations. When necessary, represents credit union during community projects and at public, social, government and business gatherings. This avenue is used to build a robust sales pipeline. Promotes goodwill through such publicity efforts such as consistently posting on LinkedIn, attending exhibits, tours, and question/answer sessions. Employee may be required to attend training sessions and seminars both in house and outside of the Credit Union.
Minimum Requirements
- An Associate's degree plus related at least two years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior work experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent member service skills
- Highly motivated, goal oriented, and a good communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Available for scheduling during Credit Union operating hours
