About the role
This is an entry-level position (1-3 years in sales development) for someone who is excited to learn and grow with a leading player in the precious-metals industry. You will drive business growth by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new clients while supporting the trading team and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Build and maintain a robust list of leads.
- Conduct cold calls to engage and qualify prospects.
- Follow up with warm leads on the same day to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Lead Management & Compliance
- Track and manage leads through the compliance process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- CRM Hygiene
- Ensure CRM records include accurate Legal Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Website, Relationship tab (all relationships), CCE, eba ID, CDN, uploaded qualification document, and any other required fields.
- Account Management & Handoff
- Ensure a seamless transition of qualified accounts to account managers.
- Maintain professional communication with prospects throughout the process.
- Sales Enablement
- Conduct best-in-class Sales Kick-Off (SKO) meetings to align goals and strategies.
- Complete Platform Gold demos to showcase product capabilities.
- Trading & Support
- Execute trading activities for a minimum of two hours per day, with increased focus when the trading team is short-staffed.
- Serve as a backup for traders when they are out of the office.
- Support a minimum of 10 cases per day, addressing client inquiries and issues.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Successfully transition a minimum of 35 qualified accounts to account managers each month.
- Execute a minimum of two hours of trading daily (more when the trading team is short).
- Support and resolve a minimum of 10 cases per day.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development or a related field.
- Proactive approach to prospecting and client engagement.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
