About the role

This is an entry-level position (1-3 years in sales development) for someone who is excited to learn and grow with a leading player in the precious-metals industry. You will drive business growth by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new clients while supporting the trading team and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    • Build and maintain a robust list of leads.
    • Conduct cold calls to engage and qualify prospects.
    • Follow up with warm leads on the same day to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Lead Management & Compliance
    • Track and manage leads through the compliance process.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
  • CRM Hygiene
    • Ensure CRM records include accurate Legal Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Website, Relationship tab (all relationships), CCE, eba ID, CDN, uploaded qualification document, and any other required fields.
  • Account Management & Handoff
    • Ensure a seamless transition of qualified accounts to account managers.
    • Maintain professional communication with prospects throughout the process.
  • Sales Enablement
    • Conduct best-in-class Sales Kick-Off (SKO) meetings to align goals and strategies.
    • Complete Platform Gold demos to showcase product capabilities.
  • Trading & Support
    • Execute trading activities for a minimum of two hours per day, with increased focus when the trading team is short-staffed.
    • Serve as a backup for traders when they are out of the office.
    • Support a minimum of 10 cases per day, addressing client inquiries and issues.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Successfully transition a minimum of 35 qualified accounts to account managers each month.
    • Execute a minimum of two hours of trading daily (more when the trading team is short).
    • Support and resolve a minimum of 10 cases per day.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development or a related field.
  • Proactive approach to prospecting and client engagement.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
