We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Austin practice. This role focuses on supporting inside sales and marketing efforts for the local sales and client services team, driving client development and growth. It is an excellent entry-level sales opportunity with clear career progression, including potential advancement into full sales positions, recruiting, or other internal roles within Addison Group companies.

Responsibilities

  • Set and attend meetings for Directors, Engagement Managers, and Business Development Managers with new and existing clients and prospects using cold and warm calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and referrals.
  • Research target companies and define strategies for relationship development.
  • Monitor market trends and apply insights to account portfolio development.
  • Analyze the regional market landscape and prioritize accounts.
  • Develop and track email campaigns, follow up on client engagement, and maintain contact database accuracy through market research and name generation.
  • Play an active role in client management, ensuring follow-up meetings are scheduled.
  • Support the sales team with custom materials, including project profiles, engagement confirmations, marketing materials, and ad hoc projects.
  • Perform client and prospect research, providing summary reports on M&A transactions, earnings updates, executive changes, and other current events.
  • Contribute content for social media campaigns and newsletters.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and preparing client presentations.
  • Provide general office support, including event planning, consultant communications, and outreach.
  • Develop relationships with referral partners and decision-makers in your market.
  • Facilitate and attend local networking events with referral partners.
  • Participate in local networking organizations to enhance brand awareness.
  • Partner with practice Directors to identify, develop, qualify, and nurture new leads.
  • Prospect new companies and introduce them to the Bridgepoint team.
  • Expand your expertise in finance and accounting to drive personal and company success.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales or business development experience, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships in professional accounting, finance, or technology fields.
  • Competitive nature and drive to succeed as a business development professional.
  • Ability to leverage your network and our database of target accounts to build, strengthen, and nurture relationships (private equity sector experience is a plus).
  • Commitment to building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with C-level executives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
