- Proactively contact existing trade customers to check in, identify upcoming projects, and strengthen relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among installers, heating designers, and contractors by phone and email
- Develop and manage customer retention initiatives for key accounts
- Work with the Managing Director to convert marketing and event-generated leads (e.g., exhibition contacts) into active customers
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer and opportunity records in Odoo
- Feed customer and market insight back into the business
Requirements
- Confident, personable communicator — comfortable cold-calling and building relationships over the phone
- Self-motivated and target-driven, able to manage your own pipeline of leads and follow-ups
- Experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally in construction, trade distribution, or a technical/industrial sector
- Comfortable using a CRM/ERP system to track opportunities and customer activity (Odoo experience a plus, not essential)
- Some technical aptitude or willingness to learn about pipe/heating systems is helpful, but full training will be provided
Pay
£35,000.00–£40,000.00 per year
Schedule
Full-time (7:30 am–5 pm) or part-time considered (e.g., 9 am–3 pm, school-hours friendly). You will need your own transport due to the remote location.
