Business Development Advisor
Position Description
ACEnet seeks a Business Development Advisor who is passionate about helping entrepreneurs turn vision into success and who thrives on building relationships, solving complex business challenges, and creating meaningful economic impact.
Responsibilities
- Empower entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey by providing one-on-one business counseling, strategic guidance, and technical assistance that helps businesses launch, grow, and thrive.
- Develop financial management plans and business strategies for clients.
- Conduct market research and prepare financial projections for clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor helping clients make informed decisions that drive long-term success.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with small businesses and/or community development organizations preferred.
Qualifications
- Commitment to sustainable development and building healthy communities with strong local economies.
- Passion for supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening economic sectors in Appalachia Ohio.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
