Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual marketing and business development plans and budgets.
- Participate in proposal and RFQ response activities.
- Congduct market research, gather project data, and prepare BD reports.
- Coordinate positioning activities and attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities (regional and national travel as needed).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including gathering client feedback.
- Generate new business for the organization, aligned with your group’s strategic objectives.
- Actively participate in key industry organizations to advance strategic goals.
- Prepare monthly client contact reports and action items.
- Assist in BD coordination meetings across service groups.
- Gather information, images, and audiovisual materials to support presentations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field (required)
- Experience in business development, marketing, or engineering, ideally within the industry
- Proven ability to perform client development and business development functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite; strong competency with resource planning and financial tools
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across teams
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and adapt quickly to new learning
