On-siteBusiness DevelopmentFull-time
Sasser Restoration is seeking a driven, competitive Business Development professional to join our Texas team. We want a true hunter—someone who actively seeks out new business, builds relationships, and gets in front of potential clients when restoration services are needed. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk sales position.
Responsibilities
- Actively identify and pursue new restoration opportunities throughout the Texas market
- Generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and relationship building
- Stay connected to the local market and identify water, fire, storm, and other property-loss opportunities
- Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, commercial property owners, insurance professionals, adjusters, contractors, and other key referral partners
- Respond quickly when new loss opportunities arise and position Sasser Restoration as the preferred restoration partner
- Prospect for commercial accounts and develop relationships before a loss occurs
- Pursue emergency response and preferred-vendor opportunities with commercial clients
- Attend networking events, association meetings, industry events, and community functions
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Conduct consistent follow-up with prospective clients
- Work closely with operations and leadership to transition new opportunities into active projects
- Track business development activity, leads, opportunities, and results
- Meet or exceed established sales and business development goals
Requirements
- A hunter by nature and motivated by winning new business
- Comfortable approaching people they don’t already know
- Persistent and confident without being afraid to hear "no"
- Highly competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Able to recognize an opportunity and move quickly
- Excellent at networking and building professional relationships
- Comfortable spending the majority of their time out in the market
- Able to work independently and manage their own pipeline
- Professional and credible when meeting with commercial clients and decision-makers
- Available when opportunities arise, including occasionally outside traditional business hours
Qualifications
- Previous business development or outside sales experience
- Restoration, disaster recovery, construction, roofing, insurance, property management, or related industry experience strongly preferred
- Existing relationships within the Dallas–Fort Worth commercial market are a plus
- Experience generating leads and developing business from the ground up
- Understanding of water, fire, storm, mold, environmental, or commercial property-loss services is a plus
