Business Data Analytics Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Business Data Analytics Intern to work directly with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders at a brand-name company located within 10 minutes of the UNL campus. This is a part-time, project-based role initially paid, with potential for development into a regular part-time internship position.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior leadership to improve data organization and create predictive models for market growth opportunities across all product lines and services.
• Organize data and build predictive models to understand current economic conditions and forecast outcomes under various scenarios, including shifts in supply and demand, manufacturing, tariffs, and competitive activity.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to present findings to the executive team.

Requirements

• An advanced understanding of mathematics, statistics, and predictive modeling techniques.
• An intellectual curiosity to transform complex data sets into probable outcomes based on different courses of action.

Qualifications

• High-quality academic performance.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with statistical software and programming languages such as Python or R.
