Carl Hansen & Søn A/S represents more than 100 years of furniture history with respect and passion for exceptional cabinet-making. Since 1908, iconic designs – created by Hans J. Wegner, Kaare Klint, and Bodil Kjær, among others – have delighted a global audience, and the journey is only just beginning. The company is currently seeking an analytical and business-oriented finance professional to fill the role of Business Controller at the headquarters in Gelsted. This is a senior role focused on acting as a financial sparring partner for the commercial business. You will become an important collaboration partner for the sales and marketing function, creating financial insights and analyses that support decisions on pricing, sales, and commercial performance. This also includes responsibility for ensuring accurate analyses and data in the business's BI reporting, as well as further development of this.

Responsibilities

• Finance business partnering for sales and marketing
• Preparation of analyses of sales, margins, customer data, and commercial performance
• Responsibility for sales analyses and reporting in BI
• Calculation of new sales prices and updating existing ones
• Participation in the preparation and follow-up on budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting
• Active part of ensuring correct data, analysis, and follow-up on costs and sales

Qualifications

• Master's or HD degree in finance/economics
• Solid experience with sales/business controlling
• Flair for various IT programs and experience with one or more ERP and BI systems
• Proficient in Excel, as it will play a central role in your daily work
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, due to international internal and external contacts
• Able to work with detailed financial figures while maintaining a holistic business overview
• Proactive and responsible work approach
• Ability to work independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
• Flexible and adaptable to various tasks and challenges in a dynamic environment
