Business Consulting - Finance Transformation - Global Business Services (GBS) - Manager 1

Our GBS team partners with global clients to assess, design, deliver and enhance next-generation GBS and Outsource models that integrate digital capabilities, drive cross-functional collaboration, and unlock continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements across domestic and large multi-national companies, focused on GBS strategy, operating model design, transformation, and performance improvement.
- Guide cross-functional teams, collaborate with C-suite stakeholders, and bring deep expertise across shared services, outsourcing, process optimization, enterprise digital capabilities, and global delivery models.
- Play a key role in practice development—contributing to go-to-market strategy, thought leadership, sector-oriented offerings, and talent development.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in providing advisory services in the finance function focused in at least one of the following areas: finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementations, outsourcing advisory.
- Experience in managing large-scale Finance Transformation and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations preferred.
- Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues, at all levels.
- Knowledge and experience in finance operating model design, performance management, shared services design and implementations, outsourcing advisory.
- Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development.
Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,000 to $267,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
