Business Consultant - Houston/Dallas, Seattle/Portland, Phoenix

About the role

As a Reynolds and Reynolds Business Consultant, you will use strong technical understanding of Reynolds applications and dealership operational expertise to provide a full range of dealership operations consulting services. The primary goal is to establish effective professional relationships with customers to increase profits and drive recurring consulting sales. This role involves follow-ups to maintain customer relationships, provide ongoing fee-for-service support, and resolve problems. You will also stay familiar with cutting-edge dealership processes and operational trends to sell this knowledge to new and existing customers.

Training

On-the-job training with multiple mentors for approximately 90 days. Additional training includes webinars, discussions, self-exploration of available knowledge products, and some classroom work as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide dealership operations consulting services using Reynolds applications and dealership expertise.
• Establish and maintain professional customer relationships to drive recurring consulting sales and increase profits.
• Conduct follow-ups for ongoing support, problem resolution, and fee-for-service engagements.
• Stay updated on cutting-edge dealership processes and operational trends to advise customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 or more years of experience working in an automotive dealership.
• Willingness to travel extensively overnight (up to 5 nights per week).
• Good driving and credit history.
• Fluency in Spanish (required for Houston/Dallas territory).
• Dealership management experience is a plus.
