About The Team

The Business Consultant plays a crucial role in achieving our sales goals by providing domain expertise and product knowledge during pre-sales engagements. They collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful customer outcomes and provide value throughout the sales cycle.

What You Will Do

  • Aid in identifying customer needs and key stakeholders.
  • Qualify prospects based on Kinaxis' capabilities and applicability.
  • Create and deliver custom demos using customer-provided data.
  • Configure unique Maestro resources such as workbooks, task flows, scorecards, etc.
  • Create supplementary presentation materials as needed.
  • Follow the sales process to ensure key deliverables are met.
  • Provide feedback to product management on product gaps and improvement areas.
  • Prepare sales transition documentation for Professional Services.
  • Participate in “Sales to Services” transition meetings.
  • Communicate product improvements and recommendations from the field.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years of supply chain management, implementation, or enterprise pre-sales experience.
  • Domain expertise in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, High-Tech, Pharma/Lifesciences, Aerospace and Defense, CPG.
  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, industry best practices, and available solutions in the SCM/ERP space.
  • Experience with manufacturing software and specifically manufacturing scheduling solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and time management skills.
  • Adaptable with strong initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Location

This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the USA.

Team

The Business Consultant works in tandem with the sales organization to ensure target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction.
