About the role
The Business Consulting team at Kestra Financial is dedicated to empowering advisor success by providing consulting services in five critical areas: Strategy, Growth and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Capital, and Operational Efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assess businesses by analyzing and advising firms on all aspects of business/practice management, particularly in strategy/business planning, human capital, marketing, operational efficiency, and financial management.
- Conduct client meetings in advisors’ offices, home office on-site meetings, recurring telephone meetings, and webinars.
- Develop and deliver content and programs that assist firms in driving organic growth, scale, and profitability.
- Work with and manage various third-party relationships that support the team’s initiatives.
- Drive adoption of Kestra platforms and services that can assist Advisors’ businesses in achieving higher levels of efficiency, profitability, and growth.
- Manage client engagements in coordination with the engagement team, including project management, relationship management, business analytics, and client advice.
- Identify opportunities to drive referrals to Kestra departments.
- Provide succession planning and M&A support to Advisors and firms.
- Provide excellent follow-up and efficient problem resolution.
- Escalate issues or interest in relation to Kestra departments such as: Technology, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Business Development, and Wealth Management.
- Share feedback from Advisors/staff with the Kestra Executive Committee and departments to improve deliverables and adoption of resources.
- Be an expert on the primary Kestra resources and services.
- Stay on top of industry trends in the Business Consulting area.
- Maintain the Kestra culture, minimize attrition, and deliver results, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Share industry ideas and best practices from other advisors with the Business Consulting Team, advisors, and staff.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of financial services, practice management, or business consulting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Applicable FINRA licenses are preferred (e.g., Series 7, 6, 65, 66, 63).
- Intellectual, analytical, and reasoning abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and follow-through.
- Ability to self-direct and manage time and priorities.
- Well-developed organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to see the “big picture” while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player.
- 20% travel required.

Schedule
Full-time position with 20% travel required.
Internal Application Policy
Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
