A little bit about us…Since 1993, Virginia Health Information (VHI) has been the Commonwealth's trusted health data organization. As a Richmond-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit under contract with the Virginia Department of Health, we collect statewide datasets, connect thousands of healthcare organizations as Virginia's designated Health Information Exchange, and turn complicated data into public reports and dashboards that make care more transparent. Our mission is simple: improve Virginia's healthcare by collecting, connecting, and reporting meaningful data. That work runs on trust. Hospitals, insurers, and state partners share sensitive data with us, and the agreements, registrations, and compliance obligations behind that trust have to be right, current, and well documented. We are a team of about 20 people, and growing. Programs that once operated on their own are now overlapping, and we are building the shared structure to match.
