General Function
Review and decide small business relationships, focusing on business purpose credits up to $2 million, in a centralized environment.
Responsibilities
- Request all necessary information and determine the proper risk rating and required credit action.
- Complete underwriting memos for business purpose requests.
- Support Banking Center personnel by communicating loan decisions and financial analysis.
- Communicate cross-sell opportunities identified during the underwriting process.
- Provide coaching to Banking Center staff and commercial relationship managers.
- Identify and review all necessary due diligence items.
- Avoid risks by following policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper risk rating is completed and perform periodic reviews and ALSR reports.
- Assist with SAG transfers if necessary.
- Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- College degree in accounting, finance or economics (preferred).
- 3+ years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- Proficient in basic software applications like Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with the Bank's internal applications is helpful.
- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
