About the role

Citizens is actively expanding and investing in the Florida market as part of a strategic growth initiative within our Business Banking segment. We're excited to build strong partnerships and deepen our presence in the region.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage, acquire, and deepen a portfolio of new and existing commercial customer relationships within the Business Banking target market of $10MM to $50MM in annual revenue.
  • Led advisory-driven conversations to assess client needs and aspirations, delivering value-added recommendations that enhance customer satisfaction and drive shareholder value.
  • Partner with Centers of Influence (COIs) and internal stakeholders to uncover and expand new business opportunities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales culture with clear goals focused on loan and deposit growth, fee income, and exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in community engagement to grow your network and represent Citizens’ values and commitments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in upper Business Banking or Lower Middle Market
  • Completion of formal Commercial Credit Training
  • Proven success managing moderately complex portfolios, clients, and transactions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and lending platforms
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on satisfaction and retention
  • Skilled in consultative selling, needs identification, and problem solving
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and COIs
  • Self-driven with a track record of generating new business
  • Results-oriented with a high level of accountability
  • Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and core banking products
  • Demonstrated community involvement

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business or Finance
  • Formal Credit Training required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hrs per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
