About the role

Business Banking Relationship Managers at U.S. Bank help our business clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and solutions tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities

  • Approach each day with a focus on doing the right thing for business clients to help them achieve their goals.
  • Identify and address clients' banking needs through thorough assessment and documentation.
  • Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend financial solutions based on each client's unique goals and needs.
  • Manage and develop new and existing relationships with business clients.
  • Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions to build strong, long-term relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Four to five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong relationship management and business development abilities.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of credit administration, analysis, and credit policy/procedure.
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis.
  • Some knowledge of bank products and services that result in successfully identifying appropriate opportunities to sell the bank's products.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the ability to work remotely for the remaining days.

Skills

Strong relationship management and business development abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills are essential. Knowledge of cash flow management, business credit underwriting, and basic financial accounting is preferred.

Pay

$86,400.00 - 105,600.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment. U.S. Bank conducts background checks consistent with applicable local laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act as well as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. U.S. Bank is subject to, and conducts background checks consistent with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA).
