Responsibilities
- Develops and manages relationships with small to mid-sized business clients.
- Serves as a key point of contact for businesses seeking loans, deposit solutions, and cash management services.
- Collaborates closely with partners across various business lines to deliver full-service banking solutions.
- Identifies new business opportunities within the bank’s defined market areas to attract and retain quality clients.
- Generates new business by networking with professionals such as real estate brokers, accountants, attorneys, and other centers of influence.
- Recommends and sells a range of banking products, including loans, deposits, and treasury management solutions.
- Manages the end-to-end credit process, including loan structuring, approval, documentation, and closing in collaboration with underwriting and credit teams.
- Stays current on all Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ensures adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies by preventing violations, minimizing risks, and safeguarding the Bank’s interests.
- Verifies transactions and account balances, ensuring compliance with bank policies and state and federal regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of appropriate credit structure and key factors of Bank policy guidelines related to assessing credit quality.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and proactive planner with strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to assess a loan applicant risk profile and manage credit structure and the risk inherent to lending.
