Business Associate, Urology, Full Time, Day

Position Summary

To support the Outpatient Care Center, Centralized Department and patient by providing a variety of services such as registration, scheduling, admitting, database management, information processing, patient/department support, materials/inventory management, education/development and unit-specific tasks.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal business/medical training preferred.
• Completion of BA training program required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred.

Experience

• Computer Experience – knowledge of windows environment.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience required.

Skills

• Effective communication and writing skills – ability to articulate and use proper spelling and grammar.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with co-workers and other staff members.
• Effective critical thinking skills, e.g., analytical, problem-solving, decision making, prioritizing, time management, etc.
• Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Typing/Keyboarding 25 – 30 wpm at a minimum.

Pay

Pay Range: $19.81 – $24.76 (per hour)
